2001年獲香港大學心理學系認知神經心理學專業哲學博士學位。
(1) 用多種研究手段(如腦成像、事件相關電位技術, 行為遺傳學、神經心理學等方法)研究精神病、神經病及亞臨床人群的神經心理機制與認知行為干預,包括精神分裂癥譜系、抑郁癥、雙相障礙、額葉受損病人等。
(2) 內表型研究。
(3) 社會認知腦機制和行為評估及相關培訓。
(4) 病人及其家人的心理衛生、適應過程、生活素質等問題。
歐洲科學與藝術學院院士（醫學），國際神經心理學會(International Neuropsychological Society)亞洲區代表，Schizophrenia International Research Society委員會委員，International Consortium for Schizotypy Research指導委員會成員，Schizotypy Working Group of EGNIMA創始成員。
SSCI雜志”PsyCh Journal”共同主編，"Journal of Psychopathology and Clinical Sciences (formerly named Journal of Abnormal Psychology)", "Progress in Neuropsychopharmacology and Biological Psychiatry", "Schizophrenia Research", "Biological Psychiatry: Global Open Science", “Neuropsychology”, “Cognitive Neuropsychiatry”, “Neuropsychological Rehabilitation”的編委和“Clinical Rehabilitation”的編委顧問。同時亦是“心理科學進展”的編委。曾任“Schizophrenia Bulletin”, ”Psychiatry Research”, “Scientific Reports” 編委。
每年計劃招收2 - 3名研究生, 歡迎具有心理學、生命科學、計算機科學以及醫學背景(特別是精神科或神經內外科)并對探討腦功能與日常行為關系具農厚興趣的同學報考。
